We Bought a Zoo is the story of a widowed writer (Matt Damon) who buys a zoo and tries to get it operational while dealing with conflict with his teenage son and the decision of whether or not to put an elderly tiger to sleep.

We Bought a Zoo is light-heated most of the time, serious some of the time. Although an interesting true story, the movie didn’t really grab hold of me.

We Bought a Zoo is decent, but not amazing. I put it right in line with IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes users.

We Bought a Zoo  is rated 7.2/10 on IMDB and is  66% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
