It has been two weeks since our last check-in on the Kansas City Royals’ home run paces… As you can guess from the title… Not much has happened.
The Royals as a team have hit five home runs in the last two weeks. No Royals player is on pace to match Steve Balboni’s 1985 total of 36 home runs.
2B Yuniesky Betancourt is the only Royals player to hit multiple home runs since our last check-in, hitting two home runs while playing seven games.
Home run pace is based on projected games played, not projected at-bats.
