Today I planted some pretty old onion sets and garlic cloves into a 17″ D, 15.5″ T “worn” tan container and placed it on the retaining wall of the walk-out patio. I think I bought these bulbs summer 2019. I don’t have much confidence in either growing very well or at all.
- White California #1 Garlic, M&G Holland – Q 6 cloves, H 21-28
- White Ebenezer Onion, M&G Holland – Q ~40 bulbs, M 120 (not on package)
Noticed carrot sprouts emerging in the garage-side bed from seeds sown May 26th! (I’d bet they came up yesterday or the day before)
