Dimanche leaves you wondering what is real and what is not, in the cartoon world. It is a fun little film, that needed a second watch before I really appreciated it.
Right now the Oscar nominated short animated films are being shown at the Tivoli Theater in Westport. Go see them!
If you wish, you can watch this film online, however, it will take a little work. The film is on YouTube, but blocked in the United States, since the Oscar nominated animated short films are currently showing in theaters and the distribution rights have been sold to a company for the viewing.
No fear! To watch online, go to http://proxy.maxproxy.net/ then enter the URL http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=OyTejCHJRk0 in the box and click “Surf”. The video above is only the trailer.
There is no dialogue in this film, so no translation is needed.
You can also purchase and download Dimanche/Sunday for about $1.95 for standard definition and $3.95 for HD.
